Light Update #3 Light Passes

improved light much more and did some other optimizations and added save / load. i also tryed it non linar (mutiplying) light and this are the results:

Non Linear:

1 Pass                                                                             5 Passes

Linear:

1 Pass                                                                             5 Passes

my favourite is the non linear 5 passes ,but sadly each pass takes around 4ms ,so 5 passes takes 20ms and that slows the game down to 40 FPS :(

Dynamic Sun

 added a dynamic sun to the game. it changes color and fades in/out at sun-rise/set. now i just need to add a dynamic background and moon

Grass Tiles

added dirt and grass tiles. grass is able to grow if no tile is above. grass tiles close up with dirt tiles

Light Update

worked on the light again. smooth light is allready 50% working (disabled because its still buggy)
also added custom render for tile types and also tile updating (for grass growing etc)
also added neon lamps

Platformer

the current version of my C# / XNA game with no name at the moment
a recent screenshot:

added some dynamic light like in minecraft or terraria because its (kinda) fast and the number of lights is unlimited.
to do: colored light, smooth light
